The new official trailer for Warner Bros./DC Studios’ Supergirl gives fans a blink-and-you-miss-it tease of Jason Momoa as intergalactic villain Lobo.

Directed by Craig Gillespie from a script by Ana Nogueira, Supergirl stars Milly Alcock as the title character, aka Kara Zor-El.

What’s in the ‘Supergirl’ trailer?

There isn’t much detail on what the film will be about, except what’s in the trailer. The trailer gives the impression that Kara is going on a far-flung mission to another civilization in space, while learning more about herself in the process. And, of course, fighting Lobo, a character Momoa has gone on record as calling a character he’s always wanted to play.

Who else is starring in the film?

The film also stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham. James Gunn is producing with Peter Safran.

Executive producers include Nigel Gostelow, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther
