The trailer for Netflix’s upcoming crime drama, His & Hers, promises gasp-worthy turns along with a layered murder mystery.
Starring Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal, the six-episode limited series follows an Atlanta news journalist who is hoping to restart her career by following a murder case in her childhood hometown. But the resident detective is also posing her problems.
What’s the plot of ‘His & Hers’?
According to the official synopsis:
Set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta, Anna lives in haunting reclusivity, fading away from her friends and career as a news anchor. But when she overhears about a murder in Dahlonega – the sleepy town where she grew up – Anna is snapped back to life, pouncing on the case and searching for answers. Detective Jack Harper is strangely suspicious of her involvement, chasing her into the crosshairs of his own investigation. There are two sides to every story: HIS & HERS, which means someone is always lying.

Thompson also executive produces with co-showrunner/director/writer William Oldroyd and co-showrunner/writer Dee Johnson. Writer Bill Dubuque also executive produces. Other executive producers include Campout Production’s Kristen Campo, Jessica Chastain and Kelly Carmichael for Freckle Films and Kishori Rajan for Viva Maude. Fifth Season produces as the studio for the series.
